2021

THIS YEAR HAS SEEN MANY EVENTS PUT ON HOLD OR SIGNIFICANTLY MODIFIED DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC RESTRICTIONS AND CLOSURES. HOWEVER, THIS AUTUMN HAS SEEN A FEW STARTING TO GO AHEAD, SO CHECK BELOW FOR WHAT’S ON.

Dundas Valley School of Art’s LITTLE BLACK FRAME Event – NOVEMBER 27, 2021

NOVEMBER 27
Little Black Frame is a variation on the art lottery format and I will have an artwork in the event. When your number is called, you’ll have the chance to choose your favourite stunning art piece from a selection of 150+ unique works, each one showcased in a little black frame. Created by established and emerging artists, you won’t know who made your masterpiece until it’s in your hands since the artists don’t sign the fronts. This is what makes it so much fun! It will be an online event due to COVID-19.
Tickets and information to this very fun event can be found at their website.
21 Ogilvie Street, Dundas, Ontario, L9H 2S1

Shalem Network Art Lottery

NOVEMBER 12 from 7 PM – 10 PM at the GASWORKS
The Shalem Network Art Lottery is a fundraising event for RE-create Outreach Art Studio. This event will be lively and fun as it celebrates the arts community in Hamilton while profiling and fundraising critical support for Re-create. Guests will enjoy entertainment, delicious food and drink and visual storytelling that shares the importance and transformational power of RE-create. I have donated an artwork to this event. Buy your tickets and get more information by clicking the link above.

OCTOBER 16  & 17 from 10 AM – 5 PM
I am a Guest Artist at STUDIO 3 on the Beyond the Valley Studio Tour. I will have my aerial and aviation photography, along with my acrylic and encaustic paintings at this studio tour in Dundas. There are 11 artists in six studios throughout Dundas where you’ll find some fabulous art, pottery, woodcraft, photography, glasswork and jewellery by some of the area’s more notable artists. Many of us have exhibited at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Carnegie Gallery, Earls Court Gallery and Dundas Valley School of Art’s gallery and events to name a few! It is free and a fabulous chance to meet the artists and see where the magic happens! More info at their website.
